The Tsleba (Aramaic: צליבא), meaning "cross" of the Nazarani Church.

The Nazarani Church (Aramaic: עידותא דנזריין) is a sui juris church headquartered in Nazareth, Israel, which was formed on 21 December 2012, out of the personal apostolic administration of His Excellency, Hadrian Mar Elijah Bar Israel (Aramaic: אדרין מר אליא בר ישראל) the Nazarani Metropolitan. The church's motto is "The Ancient Church for the Modern Age!"

The Nazarani are a people set apart as strong branches united by a single patrimony in the Messiah Yeshue. A pinnacle of Semitic culture with a distinct history, theology, and the original Aramaic language scriptures and form of worship have caused us to be a distinct people, with our own manner of living our faith, which developed next to but not together with the Christianity which is known in the western world. While the differences are often subtle, the focus of all Nazarani is on the assimilation of personal righteousness and participation in the Miltha - (Aramaic: מלתא) or "substance" of God.

Today the Nazarani Church has around thirty-thousand (30,000) faithful living on four continents, who speak and worship in the Aramaic language, live the law set down by scripture, and follow the holy tradition as it has been passed down across the millennia; in an unbroken line of Apostolic Succession stretching all the way back to Saint Mark the Evangelist and before him to Yeshue the Messiah Himself.

The Nazarani Church uses the Aramaic Language Peshitta (Aramaic: פשתא meaning "straight path”) version of the scriptures, because they are presently the most direct path to understanding the lives and words of Yeshue and His disciples. We worship using the Qurbana Qadisha (Aramaic: קרבנא קדישאת) "Holy Offering" according to the Nazarani Rite, which is the only pre-3rd century liturgy still in use, and took more than a decade to reconstruct from fragments of ancient manuscripts. This form of worship is unquestionably one of the most beautiful and authentic rites ever to be translated into any modern language.

We welcome you to join with us on the journey forward, uncovering the ancient and authentic faith in Yeshue the Messiah!
